Lisa Bettini Moro is the creator and owner of PACE Pilates and has been a physical fitness professional for over 30 years. Lisa holds a B.S. in Physical Education/ Exercise Science from Arizona State University and began her career in the health club industry as a program director. Earning her first certification in Pilates exercise in 2004, Lisa became owner of her own studio by 2008.  After completing her second Pilates method training and numerous advanced education courses in Pilates for injury, Lisa’s studio became a satellite location for Ascend Performance Institute owned by Rick Little, PT in 2016. Through working closely with the therapists of API, Lisa developed a more specific approach to work with the many clients being referred in for chronic pain and injuries. Combining her years of Pilates education with therapeutic realignment techniques, an emphasis on correcting body mechanics and deep spinal stabilization, Lisa’s work eventually moved away from typical Pilates exercise and towards an area of specialization for helping clients out of degenerative pain.   In 2018, she recreated her studio as PACE (Pilates Adaptations & Corrective Exercise) Pilates; a studio dedicated to this area of specialty and her own unique schematic approach to corrective exercise using Pilates.

As a Certified Health & Wellness Coach and the founder of Feed Burn Focus Holistic Consulting & Coaching, Lisa provides individual coaching sessions to clients and is a frequent speaker and presenter on the subject of changing lifestyle choices to improve physical, mental and emotional health, chronic pain and health conditions naturally.  Lisa helps clients reduce and eliminate chronic pain, not just by corrective exercise, but by the holistic approach of changing their daily living habits regarding how they choose to eat, engage in physical activity, and manage their stress and emotions to balance their nervous system activity. In her speaking presentations, she mixes an entertaining style with sound science about how the body works naturally to stay healthy and fit with the right daily lifestyle habits.

Lisa was voted “Best Pilates Instructor” in the Best of the Valley 2014 issue of Arizona Foothills Magazine.

At over 50 years old, Lisa’s weekly Pilates movement practice helps her maintain her long-time loves of swimming and trail-running.
